D&D: Not just for obese basement-dwellers!

Connor's first message here is in response to my AIM status, which was set to "I kick down the nonexistant door!".

----------------------------------------------
v1p3rleader (4:58:08 PM): How in the world do you kick down a nonexistant door?
VladimirsKatana (4:58:35 PM): XD
VladimirsKatana (4:58:37 PM): Alright, well
VladimirsKatana (4:58:43 PM): We were at D&D yesterday
VladimirsKatana (4:58:48 PM): And we came to this crypt
VladimirsKatana (4:59:28 PM): So while everyone's bickering about what to do, I suddenly say "Ya know what, I'm just gonna kick down the door!"
v1p3rleader (4:59:35 PM): XD
VladimirsKatana (4:59:41 PM): Mat, our DM, says "There's no door there."
VladimirsKatana (4:59:50 PM): "Alright, I kick down the nonexistant door!"
v1p3rleader (5:00:13 PM): Dude, I would play D&D with you if shit like that happens
v1p3rleader (5:00:14 PM): XD
VladimirsKatana (5:00:35 PM): So, my character basically falcon kicks the air where there would be a door, and falls down the stairs, alerting a group of skeletons. All of which miss me on their surprise attack
v1p3rleader (5:00:47 PM): Lmao, noice
VladimirsKatana (5:00:58 PM): Then later, essentially the exact same thing happened again, XD
v1p3rleader (5:02:04 PM): Lmao
v1p3rleader (5:02:17 PM): No but seriously, if I ever meet you, I'm joining D&D for a day
v1p3rleader (5:02:28 PM): I have no one to play it with here, and I want to give it a fair chance
v1p3rleader (5:02:29 PM): XD
VladimirsKatana (5:02:39 PM): Yeah, we have some hilarious moments sometimes, lmao
VladimirsKatana (5:03:39 PM): There was one battle we had against this Black Dragon Humanoid thing. One of us lit it on fire and then I threw a flask of acid (that I had for SOME reason) at it, which broke on impact, further burning it
v1p3rleader (5:04:31 PM): Why the hell did you have a flask of acid? XD
VladimirsKatana (5:05:15 PM): I DON'T KNOW, XD. I bought it the first chance I got to, though. I think it was just because the idea of having a flask of acid to throw at people sounded cool at the time, lmao
v1p3rleader (5:06:35 PM): I like that reasoning

Later...

VladimirsKatana (5:10:38 PM): Let's see...
VladimirsKatana (5:10:39 PM): Oh
VladimirsKatana (5:10:54 PM): There was our first few battles in our first game
VladimirsKatana (5:11:30 PM): We were going through these Kobold tunnels trying to rescue the Oracle, who was captured by them
v1p3rleader (5:11:44 PM): I'm trying to work on a project atm, too, so just keep typing and I'll read it at somepoint here
v1p3rleader (5:11:44 PM): XD
VladimirsKatana (5:13:03 PM): But the ones we fought in the caves were somewhat different. These kobolds were blind, deaf, and possibly congested. We completely owned every single group of them
VladimirsKatana (5:13:45 PM): Oh, and in the battle before we got to the caves, the kobolds got a surprise attack round because they ambushed us, but all of them missed, and one of them fumbled and fell down face-first
v1p3rleader (5:14:17 PM): Okay I was unaware of how retarded D&D enemies are
VladimirsKatana (5:14:25 PM): Then Mat, (this was back when he was playing a character, rather than DMing) decided to push a bunch of bookshelves over, killing about half of them
v1p3rleader (5:14:52 PM): ...I like this, Mat, character.
VladimirsKatana (5:15:21 PM): Later, in basically the boss of that session, a Trogdolyte, Matt shot an arrow at it, I threw my hammer....and missed....and then Mat ran up and cleaved the thing in half with his Battle Axe.
VladimirsKatana (5:15:28 PM): That's kinda how a lot of battles go, actually, XD
v1p3rleader (5:15:58 PM): Win
